Frame Furniture - Versatile, Modular, Customizable, Long Lasting (pretty much awesome)

This project is an exploration in 'Enoughism'. People are so far removed from the realities of the world that they think that IKEA makes the best furniture out there, . This project/ concept was about re-thinking what the role of furniture needs to be in our life and in society. My concept is based around a central frame that is enough to support a bunch of types of furniture. This one central piece is durable enough to last a lifetime and, with add-ons, can gain value and utility of the same quality inexpensively. I have developed two tables with interchangeable table tops and one kitchen cart that utilize the same frame.

Also factored into the equation is our customers natural creativity.  The frame can accept any sound top of 29 7/8"x 17 7/8" and could be painted or finished in a variety of ways.  Here are the images.  Let me know if you'd like more explanation, etc.
